Little Misfortune is a dark fantasy game developed and published by Kill Monday Games, the team duo behind the equally dark Fran Bow. Way more gross-out humor than I was expecting too, but it works. Little Misfortune is an adorable character, her reactions are always interesting and there's a lot of genuinely surprising and weird story moments that are just fun to see. The dark comedy and visuals are what really steal the show. In the game Little Misfortune, an additional realm was. The fictional characters of Killmonday Games are settled in a shared universe known as The Ultrareality, consisting of five realities which together constitute F.R.E.E (Five Realms of Essential Existence). It's light but it ends up having just enough interactivity to stay engaging for the brief 2~3 hour run time.
